I am the project coordinator of two of our open source projects, OpenCafe (www.opencafe.co.za)- and open source Icafe running Ubuntu & equipped with a Freedom Toaster (www.freedomtoaster.org) and ArtMarketOnline (www.artmarketonline.co.za)a global art project that was started to get artists collaborate, publish their own books and music and also to get everyone started on creative projects of all kinds.
The other version :
I was born in Hungary - travelled around in Europe & USA - spent 1 year in Tunesia learning Arabic ( the language and music).
Since 1997 I have been staying in South Africa. I love playing the violin and the guitar (and whatever I find to make noise with - :-)- like drums, didjeridoo, rainstick, kora etc.) A few years ago I have discovered the Internet and open source technology - I havent stopped learning since.

Hi Anna,
Will you take a look at this post and let me know if you can share it with some artists or caring individuals who might be interested in contributing? Of course, this also an invitation to you and your organization to participate/contribute :-)
The piece was inspired by the many "business as usual" conversations I have had prior to and especially since starting this series. It is not part of sponsor presentation in the traditional business approach so that is not what I am trying to create. I am intentionally NOT following those "business as usual" rules.
What I am looking for are people to translate each slide by giving voice to them and adding their ingredient(s). I plan to have this completed in time for an event we are working on for Philadelphia where we will be launching a new program for those transitioning from homelessness. We have some very good relationships there that will address the sponsorship side of things, so the purpose of this piece is not to sale anyone on anything it is about expressing through art some ideas about business' role in this art series. Again I point towards "The Black Factory" (by William Pope L.) he used the corporation/business and its related processes as a metaphor and vehicle...Likewise I am exploring business as a concept in the context of art NOT trying to sale business on art.
If you know of anyone that would be interested please invite them to join and facilitate an introduction.
Your time, attention and support are greatly appreciated.
Hi!!! How are you? Hope all is well on your side! I see you are sooo busy and getting on with the project! Potters for peace? No I don't know. About our art project - well I am changing it based on the years of work with the old project. It's always been just a handful of people I have been working with - but they are really great! I have been working with someone from Nigeria for about 3-4 years - and imagine - I met him for the first time last week! That was really great - then today I received a mail from India from someone that is interested in the project. So I am in the process of rethinking and redesigning the project and choose to work with a small group of creative people. However I don't focus on selling their art works - I like to focus on the creative part more than the financials. Much greetings and I will be in touch even when things get hectic - like hm - always :)
Hi Anna!
Thanks so much for joining :-)
How's everything at OpenCafe?
As soon as I get a few more things settled I'd like to explore how our gift shop can promote increased distribution of your artists work. Next time we talk can you tell me more about what you have in place in the way of order fulfillment or what your needs are?
Only my best,
Yvette

It's been awhile so I wanted to touch base and see what is new in your world...what's new?
Do you know anyone from Potters for Peace or one of their international projects?
Thanks so much for joining :-)
