About Me:
Creating alternatives for better living, including how we do business & market the business we do. Currently developing a social enterprise(s) that starts with art and invites others to join in to become part of solutions addressing issues that range from environmental crisis to poverty.

I used to do community/economic development strategy consulting, now my work has evolved into collaborative performance art based on my work with CRM Strategy. This helps create the bridge between community and business/economic interests.

Cultural Fusion is both the initiating force behind a movement and a series that utilizes mixed media, performance, FOSS technology, found objects, text, light, digital art, and emerging tech. One of the first objectives is to create installations where the audience and event sponsors becomes co-creators informing the evolution of the series. Currently a mixed media painting series and writing have kicked off and helped conceptualize Cultural Fusion.

I'd be delighted to connect with people who have or can connect me to businesses with inspiring innovative products (I have a list of a few that are specifically of interest) that can be integrated or featured in works of art, my primary interest at the moment is in developing multimedia installations and related events as collaborative performance art. I'm also interested in hearing from people who are interested in Cultural Fusion and feel they can help develop a sponsorship base and/or lead event planning.

In previous projects I have developed programs that expand this idea to include most any product meeting our criteria that can be developed by one of the other artist in our group or through our relationship with art studios. If you'd like more info just let me know :-)

Projects currently available for sponsorship to meet your CSR needs in regions or sectors where your business demands attention to relationships in order to maintain/reach profit goals.

When Jim talks people listen...

Henry Blodget recently published Jim Rogers: Coming Inflation Could Be "Worse Than The 1970s" on Business Insider stating that "Jim Rogers doesn't know when deflation will stop being the problem, but he knows what the next problem will be: Inflation. And he thinks it will be worse than the 1970s..."

Lessons in Love and Business

A short time ago I had the idea of doing a series of blogs on my service provider saga - using a troubled marriage as my metaphor. See Divorcing a service provider
The inquiry led me to reflect on an even earlier question - asking if business realized that what they want is for customers to fall in love with them/their products. I have wondered what the difference is between loving a business… Continue

International Day of Peace 2009 with Aliza Hava and Guests

In addition to an incredible voice which brings purpose and texture to her music, Aliza is a peace builder and song writer. I was introduced to her music via Maya Armstrong where the tune Martin Luther King appeared on the Dream On cd. The compilation CD is a benefit for organizations and projects working for peace. Please visit the site and make a donation and/or buy th… Continue

Yvette, I feel strongly that art history around the world can contribute to a depth of understanding each other. To do this I have started a course in the history of art which begins with prehistory. I challenge each of you to see if there is anything new to you on this site. ahaafoundation.org and choose one of the micro lessons under the title Prehistory and tell me what you learn that is new to you about that culture.
Peace be with us all

Hi Yvette, I am fine. I earn no money with my work yet or at the moment so have to decide if I can purchase the Ning Premium Services for my main network but I have something to eat and a small flat where I can stay. What I need more? I gave the last time some concerts as a member of a band but I am not sure if I like to continue these gigs. Today I "opened my swim session" for this summer. Good to go swimming now each day in a small, very small lake. Today it was a great joy to swim in this small lake. To this issue: I approve new members since someone sign up my network without any realationsship to overtone music. It's more work but better that a network is not open for each spammer.

Hope all is well also in your world!
